Take 2?

Well, after a failed streaming attempt last night, I’m going to try again today. However, I’m going to try a few things differently.

First, I’m definitely going to restart my computer before I do anything. Duh.

Then, I’m going to close all unnecessary windows. (These sound like givens)

Then I’m going to test stream for a while and really watch my output levels. If I’m still getting bogged down, I think I might try and just up my cable service through Xfinity. There are a couple changes I’ve been wanting to make anyway.

The biggest problem is that previously, I was plugged in to the router. In my new office, the ethernet doesn’t reach this far. I know that is REALLY not ideal. But we have a very strong mesh network that can support the upload speeds which I am directly plugged in to, so the only thing I can think that might be the issue is Xfinity. I’ll try that and see what propagates. If I can get this down and working at speed AND get a good time nailed down, I could do this everyday. I’m thinking that would be good.
